Anders saying hi to cousins

Cousins

Universal Studios

See, we were really there, Halloween at Universal's studios is like nothing I have ever experienced. There were really scary people jumping out at us all night. They had the whole placed all spookafied with fake fog and people jumping out of the fog like they were going to eat you. My favorite "ride" was a set walk through. They set up a bunch of their old sets and had dead looking people all strewn about. Some were dummies, some were not, and you really couldn't tell which was which until you were right next to them and they decided to freak you out. The sets were really cool, the best was a crashed plane.
Mmmm, pretty.
We went to Universals to Celebrate Blake's birthday. Here he is eating some food that was left at a table practically untouched. It was still warm apparently. I was tempted to join in, but figured I didn't want to take my chances when I was already feeling under the weather. Thanks Blake for letting me celebrate your birthday with you!
Taking a little break between all the spook mazes and chain saw massacres. We were both feeling a bit under the weather here, my ear felt like it was going to explode and Tucker's stomach felt like it was going to explode. Apparently the Simpson's ride was a little too dizzying for him.
Jurassic Park Ride. I screamed louder than I ever have before as we plummeted down the waterfall. I tore my ear drum on the flight into LA on Thursday night. My face is a little distourted here as I tried not to think about the pressure continually building up in my ear canal.

Tucker always jokes about buying a Dodge Charger someday, so this was a perfect photo opp.

Prop. 8

No voters
Yes voters, on opposite street corner. Sorry I didn't get a closer photo.
Passing out fliers to remind those voting yes to get out and vote.

Interesting to be in California the week end before the election when Prop. 8 was the biggest deal ever. We passed out fliers to people who had said they were voting yes, to remind them to vote.
I did a little reading on the topic, I assume there are good arguments for both sides, but seeing how Californian Homosexual's have all the same rights, as married couples would, without titling their unions as Marriage, I feel that it is in the best interest of the social fabric of America to not call Homosexual Unions Marriage. I apologize if this offends any of my friends who are homosexual, I would be more than happy to talk with you and understand your point of view if it does.

Halloween Night in Mission Viejo

We helped Tucker's cousins do a Haunted House in their garage, this was my costume and mask.
Kendra, Tucker's aunt got us all pumpkins to carve. Mine is the cute one in the front on the right. Tucker's is the one in the middle on the top.
Jake, Tucker's cousin and his latex mask. He definitely had the most freaky costume.
Tucker had a lot of fun trying to come up with a new way to carve a pumpkin.
He just started drilling away without any real plan. It gave him some good ideas for next year, but he ran out of time and ended up just carving it like normal on the other side.

Law School Halloween

Law school Student Body President, Naseem the Fairy
My Beautiful friends and their awesome kids!
Blackacre Blitz, showing some leg
And showing a little more leg. I didn't get the memo about the high heals, so my legs are not displayed here.

This was at the law school Halloween party, which is the biggest party of the year at Law school. Everyone dresses up and brings their kids if they have them all dressed up. We all parade in front of everyone in the moot court room. We get to see all the cute kids and then they give out prizes. The student prize this year went to a Super IL. I will have to find a picture of her and post it on here.

Janis and Greg's place

I love this picture, there is something about leather boots and good looking jeans on guys that I love! I think it is the farm girl in me.
Greg slaving away, while Tucker had a blast entertaining his nephew Troy.
Troy loves him some volley ball!

Saturday, Tucker flew in at noon and we headed up to Ogden to see his sister and her family. Greg her husband always has amazing food prepared to fill our tummies. This time he made carne asada tacos. They were AMAZING! The little guy is Troy, he is one of my favorite little people around.

Sunday Dinner at Grama's

Sunday Dinner at Grama's was one of the funnest yet yesterday. We had almost the whole Stewart Clan, some Wrights, some Becars and some Vials and friends. We hung out all night having a blast with Ashley and Jarom's little guy Cannon. Then Tucker taught me how to do a rubics cube. I am still not very good at it, but at least I'm not just turning it without any set plan now.

Halloween, Corpses Bride

Tucker and I dressed up as the corpses bride, Mom and Grandma had fun helping out. This is Grandma's Wedding Dress I am wearing. She was such a sweet heart to let me wear it, though I did worry about it most of the night, I think I took pretty good care of it.

GO BLACKACRE BLITZ 2/58

Mags and I taken a little off guard, funny that we both had our hands out our chins, must be a law school thing.
I feel pretty honored in this photo. These two girls are why we are number 2 out of 58 teams this year. We haven't lost a game and it is mostly due to the fact that these two girls sacrifice their time in Professional Responsibility Class to strategize how we will kill the team we are about to play.
We went and got hot chocolate and gelato at mystros
Lisa and Jordan on defence, Soph on the line with me and Mags, everywhere we want her to be at all the right times!
Nik is our quarterback, Marie is usually our center/receiver
Marie and Brandon, B is our "coach". Though really he just comes to help Marie look even better than she already does.
Kel is so hard core that she played despite having gotton a tracheotomy the weekend before. Now that is HARD CORE!
Nice form!
A little tumble, I think this might not have been very pleasent for Nat. sorry friend.
The team!
A little prep work before the game. There is always a scramble for our student cards.
Soph, looking relaxed and keeping it real before the game.
Marie, just doing a little touch up before she goes and smears the other teams faces in the ground.

So yes, we have played our last game of the season before the tournament. We start in the tournament next week. We have seen our Rankings. We are ranked # 2 out of 58 teams, that puts us just below the team who has won for years. I just got butterflies as I write this. I really want to beat that team! We know we are good. We went and scouted out a few other teams who are ranked just below us and we know we can beat them, but really we haven't played any team who could even remotely compete with us, so we are going to have to play it really cool headed once we meet our match.

Maybe I am getting a little too into this sport, but with a team like the Blackacre Blitz who wouldn't!
