This is when my feet started to really get rubbed raw, check out the sand.
This was a little detour we took to another canyon, twas really beautiful!
I love playing spider man!
When the canyon started to open up.
Glad and Jarrod, master trip planners and food dehydrators!
We are all a little obsessive about our gear.
Wow. . .that water was high!
The lone man. Not really lonely.
Some places got pretty dark as there was barely any light coming in at the top.
This was the 4th shot Glad took of me as she was trying to get the lighting right so i got tired of being normal.
And this one, the walls were changing the whole way along.
I love this shot!
Just the three of us. We had to take this one like 5 times, cause Glad had to run really fast to get back to it. There were no other people in the canyon!
Glads and I
What was that? Oh, I am hiking in the most beautiful canyon ever? Ya, I know!

Regina Spektor Concert
So we finally did something with all the roomies. Getting six girls to plan something together is not an easy task, took us all semester to pull it off. But Regina was worth it. Unfortunately there were some really annoying drunk people there that kept talking all through the concert. Regina stopped playing two times to ask them to be quiet. It was pretty cool to see how she handled it. I don't think I could have had as much patience as she did.
She sounds even better live then recorded.

Mountain Biking
Jessica and I decided that we are now going to be Mountain bikers. We figured that sense we both have bikes, it still hasn't snowed, and we had 4 days with no work or school that we better take advantage of our great fortune. So we fixed our flat tires and tested out our gears, bought new gloves and helments, spent way to much time strapping the bikes to the roof and away we went.
What a cardio work out. We went up hill for about 45 minutes straight. I can't remember the last time my heart has pumped so hard and fast! Can't wait to go again!

Goblin Valley and Coyote Gulch, Escalante Oct. 27-28, 2007
Glad came into town on Friday night and we left Saturday at 4 am. We took a wrong turn on our way down to Escalante and ended up going through Capital Reef National Park and spoted Goblin, then new that we were lost. So we took advantage of where we were and did the little horse shoe and bell canyon after running around in Goblin Valley. We left there about 4 pm and got to Escalante around 8pm. Crashed for the night and woke up at 5 to hike Coyote Gulch. All and all we did about 30+ miles in two days, 20+ on Sunday after not being able to get out at the usual point because it was a little too dangerous. And you know that if I thought it was dangerous it was! Great weekend. Both my feet are wrapped and I am maxing out on IB Profin to kick the pain and swelling. I guess I am not quite as durable as I was at 20!
