Getting ready for the family reunion

We had the Vial Family reunion at the farm house this year. Nic took Ander's and MAddie on their first four wheeler ride as soon as they showed up. They had a lot of fun running around and being farm kids again. We were so happy to have them and the rest of the Brig and Chelle Larson family out to visit and can't wait till we see them again.

Kevin has been here most of the summer which has been really fun. It is cool to see siblings grow up and Kevin has sure done his fair share of growing up. He ran the shave Ice booth at fair this year and did a really good job!

My Favorite way to find my Boys

I will often come in to the baby room after Tucker has gone to put him down for a nap and find them both taking a nap.

Trip to the Coast

We went out to Lincoln City for some work stuff in June. We took Tucker's parents and had a good time in our hotel and hanging out the next day. Weston loved eating this apple until he threw it up all over and we had to pull over and strip him down and clean out the car on the side of the Highway. Pretty fun!

Corromanda

This is at Hahei after a big day of hiking and hot beaching it.
Weston loved it!
Hot Water beach. The water here is super hot as there is a thermal heating thing going on. If you did a hole like Tucker did here, you have the hotest hot tub you have ever felt! You just have to figure out how to keep some cool water flowing into it to not cook everyone.
One of the coolest things about New Zealand is that most hikes go through people's private property, and it is no big deal. This was a cattle field.
Weston eating the sand. His diapers suffered a bit. But he enjoyed it.
Tucker's cool hammock for Weston. He took a great nap here while we swam.
Emerald Cove. The rocks were super pretty here.
Tucker the Totem Pole
Hahei Beach, we stayed in a little batch right down the road from here and were able to walk to the beach in 3 minutes. We got to stay in the Batch for practically free as it was on of Cheri's mom's friends.
Cathedral Cove

Corromanda is a beautiful peninsula above hamilton on the east coast of the south island. We had a great time here!!! Probably our favorite spot in New Zealand.

Raglan continues

We had some really good fish and chips here too.

Hamilton and Raglan

This is my friend Cherie and her two kids. We had a good time on the north island with them.

Maori Village

We had a fun time at the village. We got to learn a bit more about Maori culture. I nominated Tucker to be our chief, which was pretty fun cause we got to know a lot more people. They cooked our dinner in an underground oven. It was tasty.

Rotorua the Town

Rotorua is the cultural capitol of New Zealand. In this spot there is an Anglican Church facing the Maori Marae. The town in built on lava warmed steam baths. They bury their family above ground as they would hit hot water if they buried them below. We had a fun day here.

Caves in Waitomo

This was at the glow worm caves in Waitomo. The caves were sweet! We just walked through cause we had Weston, but one of the caves you can go white water rafting in. The caves are filled with glow worms which light up the ceilings above the streams and rivers that runt through the caves.
